As I was driving through the state of Montana, I saw this set of old buildings on the prairie. I was fascinated with them, so I pulled over and captured a number of images. When I see buildings obviously in disrepair, especially when they are old and falling apart, I always wonder what the history of the building was. Who lived there, why did they choose that particular place to build, what happened to the owners, and many other questions run through my mind. There is a rich history behind places like this, and they evoke many thoughts and emotions related to the past.
Light fascinates me. It changes constantly, and never stops creating new versions of even familiar objects and scenes we look at every day. It can surprise and awe me on a daily, or even minute by minute basis, and make me want to stop and watch what it does. It creates a multitude of moods, and enriches the human experience in a way that most things don't. I love to capture it in images frozen by my camera. Thanks for stopping by!
