Of all the places I have been, Kauai has the most incredible natural beauty. Practically everywhere you look there are breathtaking scenes. One day as I was walking along the waterfront, I saw this tree and how it framed and set off the water behind it. This image is one of the images that resulted.

Light fascinates me. It changes constantly, and never stops creating new versions of even familiar objects and scenes we look at every day. It can surprise and awe me on a daily, or even minute by minute basis, and make me want to stop and watch what it does. It creates a multitude of moods, and enriches the human experience in a way that most things don't. I love to capture it in images frozen by my camera. Thanks for stopping by!
