On our third day of hard hiking we reached McClure Meadow, one of the most incredibly beautiful places I've ever had the pleasure to visit. We camped by the river there, and spent the next day enjoying the stunning view laid out before us. Majestic mountains rose to lofty heights, almost tame deer and a peaceful river teeming with trout were all part of the experience.

Light fascinates me. It changes constantly, and never stops creating new versions of even familiar objects and scenes we look at every day. It can surprise and awe me on a daily, or even minute by minute basis, and make me want to stop and watch what it does. It creates a multitude of moods, and enriches the human experience in a way that most things don't. I love to capture it in images frozen by my camera. Thanks for stopping by!
