Western Washington offers some of the most beautiful scenery to be found in the United States. Ruby Beach on the Olympic Peninsula coast is one such place. Rock formations silently stand watch over the beach. One recent weekend my wife and I took a trip to visit this incredibly beautiful place, and this is one of the images I was able to capture.
Light fascinates me. It changes constantly, and never stops creating new versions of even familiar objects and scenes we look at every day. It can surprise and awe me on a daily, or even minute by minute basis, and make me want to stop and watch what it does. It creates a multitude of moods, and enriches the human experience in a way that most things don't. I love to capture it in images frozen by my camera. Thanks for stopping by!
