Grand Marais, Minnesota is a beautiful place. Its Lake Superior shoreline is gorgeous. Alongside the breakwater walkway to the lighthouse marking the entrance to Grand Marais' "harbor" there are rock formations on both sides, which have created water pools scattered here and there. The water in these pools is crystal clear. This image was captured while I was exploring these rock formations along Lake Superior's shoreline.
Light fascinates me. It changes constantly, and never stops creating new versions of even familiar objects and scenes we look at every day. It can surprise and awe me on a daily, or even minute by minute basis, and make me want to stop and watch what it does. It creates a multitude of moods, and enriches the human experience in a way that most things don't. I love to capture it in images frozen by my camera. Thanks for stopping by!
