Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

One weekend, my wife and I drove from our home in Western Washington to the town of Winthrop, WA. We decided to drive the North Cascades Highway, an incredibly beautiful drive along highway 20. At one point the highway crosses part of Diablo Lake, and there is a safe place to park, so we got out to photograph the lake and the surrounding mountains. The weather was unsettled, with intermittent showers. The mountains were covered with clouds, but I waited to see if the clouds would clear off at least one of the peaks. I was rewarded with this image. There was misty fog rising from the water's surface, which added to the misty, cloud - shrouded feel of the image.

About David Lunde

David Lunde

Light fascinates me. It changes constantly, and never stops creating new versions of even familiar objects and scenes we look at every day. It can surprise and awe me on a daily, or even minute by minute basis, and make me want to stop and watch what it does. It creates a multitude of moods, and enriches the human experience in a way that most things don't. I love to capture it in images frozen by my camera. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy these images.
