Description
The garden where these dahlias were located was spectacular. I asked a friend if I could take some photographs of some of the flowers in his yard, and his wife said that I should go across the street and ask to see the garden of her neighbor. She then called this wonderful lady and asked her permission for us to come over. We were welcomed to come, and I was stunned when I walked around to the garden she had in back of her house. The incredible beauty of the dahlias growing there was breathtaking. It was late afternoon, and the light was perfect for photographing, so I quickly got to work. I'm not sure how long I was there, because I lost all sense of time as I shot as many of the exquisite, world-class dahlias as I could while the light was still good. I'm looking forward to going back again sometime next summer to capture her garden again.
