Description
I had been watching this tree for weeks. It has such an interesting set of branches. But the light was never right. One early evening I was out running errands in my car, and happened to drive by the tree, and saw that the light was going to be spectacular in a short while, due to the way the setting sun and the clouds were as I passed. I didn't have my camera with me, so I ran home and grabbed it. I jumped back into the car and drove back to the area the tree was in and quickly looked for a safe place to park. I found one, but it was a good couple of hundred yards away to the place where I had already pre-visualized capturing an image of this beautiful tree. The light was going to be fading soon, and I realized that I also had to change my lens before photographing it, as the one on my camera was not the best one for the image. I knew the light was only going to last a couple of minutes, so I changed my lens, ran the two hundred plus yards as fast as I could, and was able to capture this image. I only had time for a few frames, but in the end it worked out well.
