Description
At work one day, a coworker mentioned that she lived in a house that backed up to a wildlife sanctuary, or small refuge. Her back yard was on a small hill that overlooked the area, and she and her family often saw wildlife and other beautiful sights on a regular basis. I asked permission to bring my camera and see what I would see that evening. As I watched the sun go down, I noticed a few tendrils of fog forming on the far side of the area laid out before me. As I watched, the fog started forming closer and closer to me. Time went on and the fog thickened as the sun set. Soon it became blue hour, that magic time when fog, water and skies register as an absolutely gorgeous blue on the camera's sensor. The fog continued to thicken in the low area before me, and I continued to capture its beauty. Finally the fog overwhelmed my position, and the incredible show was over.

David: This is stunningly beautiful. We took the time to read the description and was glad we did. Very interesting. Our back yard is adjacent to a federally protected wildlife refuge but we do not have those views. Sure would be nice if we did. Now back to your image. Outstanding in every respect.
